Eddie A. Benefield
Owner, President

As a fourth generation construction company owner, Eddie brings a lifetime of experience in residential, commercial and industrial construction markets. Eddie took the reins of the company from his father in 1996, and continues to run the business much like his family has for more than 75 years.

Eddie oversees the management of the home office, is active in bidding and is responsible for the overall success of every project. His hands-on approach means that customers can rely on him to visit every jobsite and ensure quality of work, resulting in client satisfaction of every job and, in many cases, repeat customers.

Mike Townsend
Project Management

Mike has been active in the construction industry for 31 years, including more than 15 years of running his own contracting company.

Mike is E. A. Benefield’s Project Manager. He is responsible for several key functions for the company including personnel/management, communication with project owners, architects, employees and subcontractors to complete projects to the satisfaction of all parties.

Rhonda Long
Contract Specialist, Office Manager

Rhonda has been an active partner with E. A. Benefield for 16 years. She is currently the Office Manager and is responsible for bookkeeping, contracts, purchase orders and the day-to-day management of the office. With her extensive experience, customers can rest assured that the secretarial aspect of every project will be performed in thoroughly and professionally.
